スペシャルティコーヒー業界では、一杯のコーヒーの品質は豆の品質によって決まり、たった一つの不良豆が焙煎全体を台無しにする可能性があります。スペシャルティコーヒー協会（SCA）は、割れた豆、虫やカビの被害を受けた豆、黒豆、異物混入など、一次不良豆と二次不良豆を定義しています。手作業による選別は非常に時間がかかり、非効率的です。色による選別では、小さな欠陥を見落とすことがよくあります。CS Oneは、AIを導入することで精度を確保し、時間と労力を削減しながら、SCAが分類する不良豆をすべて排除することで、これらの一般的な問題を解決します。コーヒー焙煎業者は、絶妙なブレンドの作成や顧客ニーズへの対応など、人間の手が必要な作業に、はるかに多くの自由度を持つことができます。

通常数時間かかる生豆の選別作業が、たった2つの簡単なステップに短縮されました。豆ホッパーに生豆を入れ、タッチパネルで選別を開始するだけです。選別を開始すると、生豆は通路を落下し、4K高解像度レンズと1/16000秒のシャッタースピードを備えたAI搭載カメラを通過します。カメラは、選択された処理方法に基づいて良品と不良品を識別します。不要な豆は圧縮空気によって別の容器に排出されます。これにより、面倒な生豆選別作業が完全に自動化され、焙煎業者は他の重要な作業に時間を割くことができます。
